Dealing with Difficult Situations

We’re not in Kansas anymore.

All our university and college education didn’t prepare us for this. It’s awkward, unplanned, and can lead to increased conflict in the workplace.

Difficult Situations in the Workplace

We’ve all been there. It never fails to happen, and it always happens when you least expect it.

No matter who we are, where we work, or what our title is, from time to time the people around us at work say and do things that upset us, annoy us, and even distress us.

We get caught by other people’s poor behaviour, to the point that we don’t know how to respond – in part because we don’t want to make the situation worse.

These poor behaviours can affect us, our colleagues, our team, our organization, and at times even our job security.

About the Webinar

This live 60-minute session will equip you with the insight and tools to approach challenging workplace behaviours in a direct and productive way. First, we’ll explore the wide range of problematic behaviours, including those that often fall under the radar, and then review the three ways people often react to uncomfortable situations and why these reactions are unhelpful. You’ll leave the session with a 3-point strategy to ensure you react helpfully in a more positive and supportive way, as well as tips to guide your own direct conversations back at work.
